Day Twenty – 30 May 2026: Game Drive in Amboseli & Transfer to Masai Mara NP.
This morning begins with breakfast at camp before you set out with your packed lunch for a final game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park’s open plains and wetlands offer excellent opportunities to view its iconic elephant herds, along with lion, buffalo, eland, giraffe, and cheetah. All the while, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a breathtaking backdrop—its snow-capped peak rising majestically above the savannah.
By midday, you exit the park and begin your journey toward Kenya’s most celebrated wilderness, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through a variety of landscapes, from fertile highlands and rural villages to sweeping rangelands dotted with Maasai homesteads. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the region’s culture and wildlife, adding depth to your experience.
Arriving in the Masai Mara in the early evening, you check into Mara Spring Camp, a comfortable base set within close reach of the reserve’s prime game-viewing areas. Here, the air feels alive with possibility—the distant calls of hyenas, the flutter of night birds, and the scent of wild grasses on the breeze. Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and the warm hospitality of camp life, before settling in for the night under a sky ablaze with stars.

Day Twenty-One – 31 May 2026: Full Day in the Masai Mara National Park.
After breakfast at camp, you set out with your packed lunch for a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The day will be spent on both morning and afternoon game drives, giving you the best chance to encounter the Big Five—elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros—along with cheetah, giraffe, zebra, and countless antelope species roaming the open plains.
As you traverse the reserve’s rolling grasslands and acacia-dotted landscapes, your route will take you toward the Mara River, a lifeline for the park’s wildlife. Here, you may spot pods of hippos lazing in the water, massive Nile crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks, and, depending on the season, wildebeest gathering at the river’s edge in preparation for their legendary migration crossing. The sheer abundance of life in the Mara ensures that every moment offers something new and captivating.
By late afternoon, you return to Mara Spring Camp for refreshments and time to relax—perhaps with a cool drink by the pool as the sun sets over the savannah. Dinner is served in the camp’s dining area, followed by a peaceful evening under the vast Kenyan night sky, where the sounds of the wild drift in on the breeze.

Day Twenty-Two – 01 June 2026: Game Drive and Transfer to Nairobi
Your final morning in the Masai Mara begins early, with breakfast at the camp and a last chance to soak in the peaceful dawn sounds of the savannah. Afterward, you set off on the journey back to Nairobi, retracing your route through the Rift Valley’s sweeping landscapes and lively roadside towns.
Upon arrival in the capital, you visit Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Orphanage, where rescued young elephants are cared for and rehabilitated before re-introducing them to the wild. It’s a rare opportunity to witness the trust’s conservation work up close, watching the elephants enjoy their afternoon feeding and playful interactions. If time allows, you also stop at the Giraffe Centre, where the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe is protected, and visitors can feed these gentle giants from an elevated platform.
From here, you are transferred to directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, marking the close of your East African safari. As you leave, you carry with you not just photographs, but the sounds, scents, and unforgettable encounters of your journey through some of Africa’s most extraordinary landscapes.
