Our Staff
Paul is delighted to welcome all your questions regarding conservation, birding, the region’s tourism products and the natural treasures of Uganda and East Africa. He holds a Certificate in Tourism and possesses a particular passion for bird watching, a field in which he has developed considerable expertise over the years.
With more than twenty years of field experience, Paul has worked as a tour guide for several of the most reputable tour companies in the region, gaining invaluable insight into the industry and the needs of travelers from around the world. Driven by a deep commitment to showcasing the beauty of East Africa, he later joined forces with other seasoned and experienced tour guides to present the region’s remarkable tourism products and natural gifts to the world. Together, this shared vision gave rise to Terrain Safaris.
Paul is a proud member of the Baganda tribe, born in Mukono District in central Uganda. He was raised under the guidance and mentorship of a renowned teacher, Mr. Christopher Ben Kiwanuka, whose influence helped shape the values of dedication and excellence that Paul continues to bring to the company today.
Rebecca is a well-respected and accomplished businesswoman based in Kampala, whose contributions have been instrumental to the overall well-being, organization, and smooth operation of the company. Her strong business acumen and organizational skills have played a vital role in helping Terrain Safaris grow into the reputable company it is today.
Beyond her professional achievements, Rebecca holds a deep and genuine passion for the natural world, a passion that continues to inspire her dedication to the company’s mission of promoting responsible and meaningful tourism throughout East Africa.
Patrick brings a strong academic and professional foundation to his role as Administrator at Terrain Safaris. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Makerere University Business School, widely regarded as one of Uganda’s leading institutions of higher learning. In addition, he possesses a Certificate in Dynamic Website Development from Makerere University, equipping him with valuable technical skills that complement his administrative expertise.
Patrick’s journey into the tourism sector was driven by genuine passion and a strong personal desire to be part of an industry he deeply admires. Today, he is a well-established and respected professional within the field, bringing both dedication and considerable experience to his role.
4. Ms. Patricia Marion N. - Company Secretary
Patricia holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from Makerer University, one of Uganda's most reputable and highly regarded institutions of higher learning. In her role as the company Secretary, she combines her academic background in the tourism sector with strong technical and organisational skills, ensuring that both our online presence, company interests and daily operations run smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of our customers.
5. Mr. Miiro Moses - Operations Officer
Moses holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from Kyambogo University, one of Uganda's most reputable and highly regarded institutions of higher learning. In his role as Webmaster and Operations Officer, he combines his academic background in tourism with strong technical and organizational skills, ensuring that both our online presence and daily operations run smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of our clients.
6. Mr. Moses Kabanda Salongo — Head Guide
Moses is a long-serving and highly experienced Ugandan tour guide, well established for his exceptional ability in leading tours across the East African region. His extensive knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality have earned him great admiration among our clients, many of whom have affectionately nicknamed him "the Michael Jordan of Uganda" in recognition of his outstanding skill and dedication to his craft.
