Day 1:  Arrival in Kigali at Kanombe International Airport.

Upon your arrival at Kanombe International Airport in Kigali, you will be met by a representative from Terrain safaris who will welcome you and transfer you to your respective Hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight stay (Hotel Chezlando for budget travelers/Hotel Mille Collines for luxury travelers). (BB)

Day 2: Kigali City tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

After breakfast at your Hotel in the morning, you will have a short Kigali city tour and later you will drive northwards to Volcanoes national park, passing through the rolling hills to Musanze District. We arrive in the afternoon and check in to the service of Hotel Le-Palme, relax around, dinner and overnight

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park.

This will be your best day, so after breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing from the RDB wardens. After the briefing, you will then head for gorilla tracking with in Volcanoes national park with the rest of the trackers. Your encounter with these man’s closest shy friends will be a highlight of your Rwanda Safari. The experience you will get this day, will be memorable and your safari will be a once life time to remember. Gorilla tracking/trekking can take 2 to 8 hours with in this jungle forest and it depends on the movement of the Gorillas on the previous and that particular day. After tracking, you will retire to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Hotel Le-Palme.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu

Have a morning breakfast after which you will transfer to Lake Kivu. Upon arrival, you will take a boat cruise on the lake. Return back to lodge for lunch and after relax at the beach or take a swim in this fresh and bilharzia – free lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel or Paradise Malahide Hotel (FB)

Day 5: Transfer back to Kigali and departure.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and transfer back to Kigali.  Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kigali or will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home.
