This carefully designed safari takes you into the heart of East Africa – Uganda, a remarkably diverse destination often referred to as the “Pearl of Africa.” Despite its relatively small size, Uganda boasts an extraordinary range of natural habitats, abundant wildlife, and unique tourism experiences.

Your journey includes a visit to the renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the base of the Albertine Rift Valley. This spectacular park is celebrated for its scenic landscapes, rich biodiversity, and exceptional game viewing opportunities.

You will also have the memorable experience of chimpanzee trekking in the lush riverine forest of Kyambura Gorge, where you can observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be picked up from the Airport (depending on the time of you flight), by our driver/guide, who will brief you about your safari and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. And we should always follow the Ministry of Healthy safety guidelines for the COVID 19 pandemic. On our way we will have stopovers at the Ugandan equator at Kayabwe, for water experiment, pictures and shop for a souvenir.

We will also have a lunch stopover either at Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Center Mbarara, we continue to the southwest and head for the Albertine Rift Valley. We will enter the park with a mini game drive, in search for wildlife that includes; Water-bucks, Bush-bucks, Kobs, Buffaloes, Elephants, Jackals, Hippos, Warthog, Lions and Leopards among others.

We proceed on and check in to the service of Park View Lodge for dinner and overnight. For upgrade you can stay at Mweya Safari Lodge or Kyambura Gorge Lodge.

Day 2: Exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park

The day begins early as we go for our morning game drive, heading for Kasenyi plains, towards the Kobs mating grounds, in search for  wildlife that may include the Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Elephants, Buffaloes, lions, Leopards and other wildlife in their natural habitat. The game drives normally take 2-3 hours before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural link between Lake Edward and Lake George.

The Channel accommodates abundant wildlife, hundreds of birds that are sighted fishing in the channel and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Dinner and overnight at Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge. For upgrade you can stay at Mweya Safari Lodge, Kyambura Gorge Lodge.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth, back to Kampala.

After breakfast we will take a tour to Katwe salt lake, the biggest of the only 2 productive salt lakes in this park and western Uganda as a whole. Here salt is extracted locally by the local communities, for them to earn a living for their families. You will also be able to know the protective gears these people need for their bodies while at work. We later proceed on to Entebbe, with a lunch stopover at Agip Motel Mbarara.

We later proceed on to Entebbe, with another stopover at the Equator, for toilet break and souvenir shopping. From there, we drive straight to the airport for your flight home. Depending on the time of your flight.
