($773 pp/2pax)
Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park
Have an early breakfast before hitting the road for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda; Murchison Falls National Park. This park is located about 300 kilometers north of Kampala, passing through the famous Luwero triangle. We will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and then have lunch at Kabalega dinners. We later proceed on entering the park through Kichombanyobo gate and enjoy a mini as we drive through.
We will also pay a visit to the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile. At this point you see the World’s longest river being forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below. This is really a memorable sight and sound, that can be viewed at different points. We proceed on and check in to the service of our accommodtion, dinner and overnight at Hornbill Bush Lodge.
Day 2: Game drive – Boat cruise at Murchison Falls NP.
The day begins with an early breakfast and then we start our game drive towards the Delta area, in the northern sector of the park. Game drives are mostly done in this part of the park because of it’s higher wildlife concentration than other parts. The wildlife expected includes; Rothschild Giraffe, elephant, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Lions, Warthogs, Kobs, Patus monkeys and Leopards among others. Here also a variety of Savannah woodland birds can be seen.
Then in the afternoon we go back to the lodge after the game drive, relax around and enjoy our lunch. Later in the afternoon, at 02:00pm go for the boat cruise on the Nile. We enjoy game viewing at close quarters as they come to cool off on the shores of the mighty Nile. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants and a variety of water birds. This takes us about 3 hours, then come back to our lodge for dinner and overnight at Hornbill Bush Lodge. For upgrade you can stay at Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking ( Budongo forest) – Kampala
We depart lodge, cross the Nile by the ferry and head towards the south to Budongo Forest for Chimp trekking. This normally takes about 3hrs, we then proceed on to Masindi where we have our Lunch. Drive back to Kampala and Check in at your accommodation or drive straight to the Airport, for your flight home.
