The Park covers the areas of Mountain Rwenzori that are found in Uganda. Mountain climbing, through the dense montane forest and the breath taking hazardous terrain, to the equatorial snow covered peaks is the main attraction, the melted snow from the peaks flows down the slopes of the mountain to form a river well known as River Nyamwamba which along the way it forms waterfalls that are used to generate power that is being used in the mines. In this very place one can experience the differing atmospheres on the leeward and the windward sides of the mountains by just having a walk to cross the bridge from one side to another. Other attractions include the unique vegetation, Glacier Rivers, primates and wonder features such as deep gorges along the trails.
Part of Kibale Forest National Park is found in Kasese district. The Park is a one of the remaining natural rainforest reserves recognized internationally. The popularity of the Park as a tourist destination is enhanced by the presence of large varieties of birds and primates especially chimpanzees. We also offer group safaris to Chinese tourists and other travelers, for birding, Gorilla trekking, wildlife and cultural excursions to the East African Countries, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.
